While there is some minor discussion of hearing, it is to do solely with language.
-- Alex: Heidegger shows the tendency in our times of challenging and provoking beings, while ordering everything as standing-reserve, in order to maximize extraction and storage. As an epochal event, Enframing (Ge-stell) sets the typical behavior concerning beings. Because technology is now deeply intertwined with the lifeworld, different aspects of our existence are subtly but persistently linked to technological systems. This holistic interdependence fosters a heightened form of immersion, one that surpasses the limitations of isolated systems.
