11.2.1 Occupational Exposure Limits for Noise
For a 5-day workweek with 8 hours of work per day, the limit for steady - state noise is 85 dB(A), and the
limit for the equivalent sound level of non - steady - state noise is also 85 dB(A); For a 5 - day workweek
with daily working hours not equal to 8 hours, the 8 - hour equivalent sound level needs to be calculated,
with a limit of 85 dB(A); For a workweek not equal to 5 days, the 40 - hour equivalent sound level needs to
be calculated, with a limit of 85 dB(A), see Table 9.
