An analysis of the exploration factor in games.

The discussion of 'presence' within the game is mainly from the stance of the player's viewpoint and camera angles although there is some mention of sound.

p.110   "Many 3D action-adventure or first-person shooter games occupy a space between extremes of restriction and freedom to explore."   Added by: sirfragalot
p.111   "The greatest exploration is usually found in role-playing games".
